Over the last few years, the Aggies have made their presence felt in the Midwest, and once again, Mike Elko and the Aggies find themselves in the region as they dive back into the deep talent pool of Ohio.<\/p>\n
<\/blockquote>\nCleveland (OH) St. Ignatius wide receiver Trey Haddad<\/a><\/b>\u200d\u00a0checks in at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, and he has been a top target in the Wildcat offense. A skilled route runner, he is explosive out of his breaks, with the ability to adjust on the fly and locate the ball. He also plays the position with physicality and is known to go up and attack\u00a0the ball in traffic.<\/p>\nHe becomes A&M\u2019s 21st\u00a0commitment of the 2027 recruiting class, and he is the third\u00a0addition from the Midwest, joining TE Holden Niemi<\/a><\/b>\u200d\u00a0(Michigan) and ATH Errol Kerns III<\/a><\/b>\u200d\u00a0(Indiana).<\/p>\nAs a junior in 2025, he led the Wildcats with 35 receptions, 548 yards\u00a0and five touchdowns, and over the last two seasons, he has led St. Ignatius in receptions, receiving yards\u00a0and receiving touchdowns.<\/p>\n
Regarded as a three-star prospect, he chose the Aggies over the likes of Louisville, Kansas, Michigan State\u00a0and West Virginia, and he heads to Aggieland with a strong family legacy on the football field. His father, Drew, was a standout at Buffalo before a pro career in the NFL, and his brother, Cody,\u00a0played at Ohio State and is currently at Iowa. His grandfather and uncle on his mother\u2019s side also played in the NFL.<\/p>\n
