I know ours hasn’t been the same since last year … “<\/p>\n Kenneth and his wife, Cindy, claimed to suffer physical injuries and emotional distress as a result of the fire, which destroyed their Malibu home.<\/p>\n Kenneth and a handful of new residents joined the initial Palisades Fire Litigation suit, which was filed against the City of Los Angeles days after flames ripped through the beach-side community, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, the state of California, the California Department of Parks and Recreation and Southern California Edison are also included as defendants in the suit.<\/p>\n “There’s nothing new here \u2014 Mayor Bass has spoken of her brother’s loss publicly since January of 2025,” a representative for the mayor said in a statement to Fox News Digital.\u00a0<\/p>\n “Thousands of people are plaintiffs in this action, which names 18 public and private sector defendants.
