Asia and Africa are projected to account for 90% of the increase in urban populations over the next 20 years, transforming the configuration of health systems and people\u2019s health needs. Policies have not kept up with these dramatic shifts. We need to rethink the design of PHC systems, which were often originally developed and organized for predominantly rural settings. This session will identify pivotal areas of reform for Urban PHC in diverse Asian and African contexts, and help shape a learning agenda for more just, inclusive, and sustainable Urban PHC systems.<\/p>\n
