Following our previous look at an opening for a\u00a0Senior\/Intermediate Designer at Bunch Design<\/a>, we are using this week\u2019s edition of our\u00a0Job Highlights series<\/a>\u00a0to explore an open role on Archinect Jobs for an Intermediate Architect at Gehry Partners<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The role, based in Los Angeles, calls for an individual with at least six years of experience, as well as proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD. The successful candidate will also have \u201cexperience in the preparation of Design and Construction documents; demonstrate effective technical abilities, superior problem defining and solving skills, and exceptional design sensibilities and interests.\u201d<\/p>\n

The open role at Gehry Partners offers us the opportunity to look back on some of the most recent developments from the acclaimed studio and its founder, Frank Gehry. Last month, we reported on Gehry\u2019s inclusion in a new docuseries<\/a> profiling LA ‘rebel architects\u2019 which premiered on July 1st. Elsewhere, Gehry is also set to star alongside Gordan Ramsey in a new film about the transformation of Battersea Power Station<\/a> in London.<\/p>\n

In May, we reported on Gehry\u2019s teaming up with Peter Marino on a new Louis Vuitton Beverly Hills flagship store<\/a>, set to open in 2029. The two-building scheme echoes motifs found in Gehry\u2019s previous 2014 design for the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. Earlier in 2025, meanwhile, a large-scale sculpture by Gehry<\/a> was unveiled in the lobby of 3 World Trade Center.<\/p>\n

Other notable architectural schemes by Gehry to recently appear in our editorial include the firm\u2019s Colburn Center expansion in Los Angeles<\/a>, which broke ground last year and is expected to be completed by 2027.\u00a0A 1,000-seat concert hall, 100-seat theater, and four new dance studios will be added through the construction, along with a new public garden that serves as a gateway to the rest of downtown.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in Los Angeles, Gehry\u2019s SELA Cultural Center recently moved forward<\/a> following approvals from the LA Board of Supervisors. In Toronto, meanwhile, the firm\u2019s Forma condominium scheme<\/a> is currently under construction. The 73 and 84-story towers will become the tallest buildings ever constructed by Gehry when they are completed in 2028.<\/p>\n
