It looks like Master Chief\u2019s anticipated PS5 debut in Halo: Campaign Evolved<\/a> is going to be a big hit, as the game is climbing the PS Store<\/strong><\/a> pre-order charts ahead of its release on 28th July.<\/p>\n

In several European countries, the title is already the most pre-ordered PS5 game by some margin, and it\u2019s climbing the charts in the US as well.<\/p>\n

Indeed, in America, its more expensive Premium Edition currently ranks seventh place, with only various versions of Madden NFL 27<\/a>, EA Sports College Football 27<\/a>, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4<\/a>, and Marvel\u2019s Wolverine<\/a> above it.<\/p>\n

In the UK, its standard edition is currently the country\u2019s most pre-ordered game, with its Premium Edition in fourth.<\/p>\n

In France, the Premium Edition is also number one, while the standard release is top in Germany.<\/p>\n

Presumably the game\u2019s position will only improve as more information is deployed closer to release; last week, for example, we learned the entire campaign can be played in third-person<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Xbox had said that the future of Halo is on PlayStation<\/a>, but the Redmond firm has been sending mixed messages about which titles it\u2019ll port to Sony\u2019s console moving forwards.<\/p>\n

But it may be difficult for Microsoft to overlook these sales, especially with the health of the Xbox division under increasing scrutiny right now<\/a>.<\/p>\n
