\n\tAriana Grande<\/a> felt the love in Los Angeles on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe superstar singer delivered the second of four performances at Crypto.com Arena on The Eternal Sunshine Tour, and 90 minutes through the show Grande stopped to address the crowd, which responded to her comments with wild cheers and applause. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThank you so much, oh my god. L.A., thank you so much. Are you kidding? What the hell? I\u2019ve never in my life experienced a crowd like this,\u201d Grande said as she got emotional and wiped away tears with a gloved hand while wearing custom Vivienne Westwood, Christian Louboutin boots and Swarovski jewelry. \u201cThis is so overwhelming in the most beautiful way ever. Thank you so much for being so loving. Holy moly. I said holy moly, but I meant it, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the crowd cheered, Grande continued her comments while wiping away more tears. \u201cThis means so much to me. You guys are so amazing. I love you so much and I always have. You can\u2019t do this to me, you know what I mean, because you know what\u2019s going to happen. You know I\u2019m a cancer. This is going to happen,\u201d she said, motioning that more tears would come if they continued to applaud and cheer like that.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tGrande then thanked her fans for \u201calways being such a loving, safe presence in my life\u201d and being there \u201cthroughout all these chapters and all of these years.\u201d She hasn\u2019t toured since 2019, so The Eternal Sunshine Tour marked a triumphant return to the stage after taking some years to film, promote and perform on behalf of the Wicked franchise for Universal Pictures alongside Cynthia Erivo for director Jon M. Chu. (On that note, The Hollywood Reporter spotted Universal chairman Donna Langley attending Sunday night\u2019s show and sitting in one of Crypto\u2019s VIP suites.) <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI just have so much gratitude,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd wow. Holy shit. Holy fuck. Thank you.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tGrande, whose talent and comedic timing landed her Oscar and Golden Globe nominations, then switched from earnest to humorous. \u201cI also have to say this is my first time touring wearing contact lenses. It\u2019s so nice to see you for the first time in my life and to be able to connect. It\u2019s so powerful,\u201d she quipped. \u201cThis is a very overwhelming night.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe closed by saying thank you to her fans for being there for her from 2013\u2019s \u201cHoneymoon Avenue\u201d to 2025\u2019s \u201cHampstead.\u201d On cue, she then launched into a performance of the latter track. The setlist for the night included such hits as \u201cyes, and?\u201d, \u201cpositions,\u201d \u201cthank u, next,\u201d \u201c7 rings,\u201d \u201cRain on Me,\u201d \u201cBreak Free,\u201d \u201cDangerous Woman,\u201d \u201cwe can\u2019t be friends\u201d and her current No. 1 track \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me,\u201d which became her milestone 10th Hot 100 No. 1. <\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tThe Live Nation<\/a>-produced tour was in support of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, released on March 8, 2024, via Republic Records, and its deluxe follow-up, Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead, which dropped a year later. It also comes on the eve of the release of her eighth studio album, Petals, set for release on July 31. <\/p>\n
