DFW\u2019s next-highest-ranked <a href=\"https:\/\/fortune.com\/ranking\/fortune500\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Fortune 500<\/a> company, No. 32 AT&amp;T, produced $125.6 billion in revenue last year.<\/p>\n<p>DFW fared better on this year\u2019s list than last year\u2019s, going from 22 companies to 24.<\/p>\n<p>Who owns bragging rights as DFW\u2019s headquarters for Fortune 500 companies? Dallas, with 11 headquarters on the list. Next in line is Irving, which claims eight headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether, DFW\u2019s two dozen Fortune 500 companies generated nearly $1.1 trillion in revenue last year. That figure roughly equates to Poland\u2019s annual economic output, or gross domestic product (GDP).<\/p>\n<p>In an online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallaschamber.org\/blog\/fortune-rankings-reinforce-dfws-economic-momentum\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">article about the 2026 Fortune 500<\/a>, the Dallas Regional Chamber says DFW\u2019s \u201cinfluence as a corporate powerhouse\u201d keeps growing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor DFW, these rankings reinforce a long-term trend,\u201d the chamber says. \u201cCompanies across industries continue to choose the region because of its strategic location, business climate, talent pipeline, ability to support growth, and overall quality of life. As new companies establish headquarters and existing employers expand, DFW\u2019s concentration of major corporations continues to fuel investment, job creation, and economic opportunity throughout the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the full rundown of this year\u2019s Fortune 500 companies based in Dallas-Fort Worth, including two newcomers \u2014 construction engineering company Primoris Services and mattress manufacturer Somnigroup International.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ee-ul\">\n<li>5 \u2014 Irving-based McKesson<\/li>\n<li>32 \u2014 Dallas-based AT&amp;T (which is moving its headquarters to Plano)<\/li>\n<li>50 \u2014 Dallas-based Energy Transfer<\/li>\n<li>63 \u2014 Irving-based Caterpillar<\/li>\n<li>85 \u2014 Fort Worth-based American Airlines <\/li>\n<li>115 \u2014 Dallas-based CBRE<\/li>\n<li>132 \u2014 Arlington-based D.R. Horton<\/li>\n<li>157 \u2014 Dallas-based Southwest Airlines<\/li>\n<li>164 \u2014 Dallas-based HF Sinclair<\/li>\n<li>183 \u2014 Westlake-based Charles Schwab <\/li>\n<li>209 \u2014 Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare <\/li>\n<li>262 \u2014 Frisco-based Keurig Dr Pepper<\/li>\n<li>244 \u2014 Irving-based Vistra<\/li>\n<li>245 \u2014 Dallas-based Texas Instruments<\/li>\n<li>265 \u2014 Irving-based Kimberly-Clark<\/li>\n<li>271 \u2014 Dallas-based AECOM<\/li>\n<li>288 \u2014 Irving-based Fluor<\/li>\n<li>292 \u2014 Irving-based Builders FirstSource<\/li>\n<li>362 \u2014 Dallas-based Jacobs Solutions<\/li>\n<li>367 \u2014 Plano-based Yum China<\/li>\n<li>419 \u2014 Irving-based Celanese<\/li>\n<li>470 \u2014 Irving-based Commercial Metals<\/li>\n<li>472 \u2014 Dallas-based Primoris Services<\/li>\n<li>499 \u2014 Dallas-based Somnigroup International<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The state\u2019s other mega-metro, Houston, has more Fortune 500 headquarters than DFW \u2014 27.<\/p>\n<p>Texas leads the nation for Fortune 500 headquarters (57), with California in the No. 2 spot and New York at No. 3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTexas is the undisputed <a href=\"https:\/\/gov.texas.gov\/news\/post\/texas-leads-with-most-fortune-500-headquarters\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">headquarters of headquarters<\/a>,\u201d Gov. Greg Abbott said in a news release. \u201cThe world\u2019s leading businesses invest with confidence in Texas because of our welcoming business climate, predictable regulatory environment, and skilled and growing workforce.
