Eight months after her death, Diane Keaton\u2019s Los Angeles home\u2014the subject of her 2017 book The House That Pinterest Built\u2014has re-emerged on the market for a discounted $22.9 million. The five-bedroom farmhouse was originally listed for $28.9 million last October, shortly after the actor<\/a>\u2019s death at age 79. After several price cuts, the 9,200-square-foot residence had most recently been listed at $26.9 million before going off the market again last month. AD featured the home in 2017<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Keaton<\/a> scooped up the property in 2011 for $5.65 million, listing history shows. She got to work customizing her new pad with a design vision powered by Pinterest; she adored the platform and made ample use of it to hone the house\u2019s look. The Annie Hall star<\/a> described the abode as \u201cbrick and steel and barnyard wood\u201d with an industrial-inspired vibe. When she came upon what would become her favorite feature of the home, she ordered 75,000: \u201cThe bricks\u2026 I fell in love with the bricks, and I fell in love with the mortar. I wanted to have space between the bricks so they could have a life of their own. It\u2019s old brick I bought in Chicago, and I shipped it and I kept coming back for more; they probably thought I was insane. And maybe they are right!\u201d<\/p>\n
