Valley Metro and the City of Phoenix invite the community to an open house to learn more about the West Phoenix Extension light rail expansion project. The open house is a continued conversation aimed at hearing community hopes for this major infrastructure project from design through construction.<\/p>\n
Attendees will have an opportunity to share what\u2019s important to them, one-on-one interaction with Valley Metro and City of Phoenix staff, and provide current contact information, preferred language and method of communication for future project notifications. As no formal presentation will be given, attendees are welcome to stop in at any point during the event.<\/p>\n

The proposed route would connect at either Indian School\/Central Avenue or 19th Avenue\/Camelback Road, then extend west along Indian School Road to 75th Avenue, turn south to Thomas Road, and end at the Desert Sky Transit Center at 79th Avenue and Thomas Road.
