{"id":870208,"date":"2026-06-16T02:49:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T02:49:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/870208\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T02:49:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T02:49:14","slug":"corey-feldman-hospitalized-after-suffering-mid-flight-medical-emergency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/870208\/","title":{"rendered":"Corey Feldman hospitalized after suffering mid-flight medical emergency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Corey Feldman has been hospitalized after suffering a mid-flight medical emergency.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGoonies\u201d star was rushed to the hospital after his flight from Chicago to Los Angeles landed at LAX Monday afternoon, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/15\/corey-feldman-hospitalized\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">TMZ reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson confirmed to the outlet it responded to the airport to assist a 54-year-old male, who was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Page Six has reached out to representatives for Feldman but didn\u2019t immediately hear back.<\/p>\n<p> Getty Images<\/p>\n<p> Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>A source close to Feldman told TMZ the \u201980s teen star was feeling sick on the flight and was checked out by a fellow passenger who is a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>The outlet said they\u2019re told doctors believe Feldman may be experiencing pancreatitis, the inflammation of the pancreas, or gallstones.<\/p>\n<p>Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas, while gallstones are hardened deposits of digestive fluid (or bile) that accumulates in your gallbladder, which can cause sudden and intense pain if they become obstructive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/gallstones\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20354214\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">per the Mayo Clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Feldman was in Chicago to attend an anniversary celebration for the film \u201cStand By Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> \u00a9Columbia Pictures\/courtesy Ever<\/p>\n<p> Corey Feldman\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>He, along with co-stars Jerry O\u2019Connell and Wil Wheaton, attended \u201cStand By Me: The Film and Its Stars 40 Years Later\u201d at The Chicago Theatre Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>Late Sunday night, Feldman shared a carousel of photos and videos to Instagram of him driving to Chicago for the event \u2014 stopping by Michael Jackson\u2019s childhood home in Gary, Indiana, on the way \u2014 and of the event itself.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the impromptu visit to Jackson\u2019s house happened to closely coincide with the 10th anniversary of the King of Pop\u2019s death, noting it was his way to \u201cpay respects\u201d to the late singer.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson died at the age of 50 after suffering a heart attack caused by a drug overdose on June 25, 2009.<\/p>\n<p> Corey Feldman\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p> Corey Feldman\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re on our way to Chicago to tear it up,\u201d he said in a video. <\/p>\n<p><strong>This is a developing story\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Corey Feldman has been hospitalized after suffering a mid-flight medical emergency.
