{"id":871410,"date":"2026-06-16T15:21:18","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T15:21:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/871410\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T15:21:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T15:21:18","slug":"smalls-sliders-opens-first-san-antonio-location-on-nw-side","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/871410\/","title":{"rendered":"Smalls Sliders opens first San Antonio location on NW Side"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A popular Boerne all-day brunch restaurant is now beaming down to the Rim. <a href=\"https:\/\/sunnysbrunch.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Sunny\u2019s<\/a>, from the owner of San Antonio\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.albisvite.com\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Albi\u2019s Vite Italian Kitchen<\/a>, debuted its second restaurant at 17623 La Cantera Pkwy on Monday, June 15.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lights are on, the team is ready, and the countdown is almost over,\u201d wrote Sunny\u2019s in a June 14 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DZkmjxzMsz1\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Instagram post<\/a>. \u201cTomorrow we officially open our doors at The Rim, and we couldn\u2019t be more excited to welcome you!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In January, the restaurant first teased its debut in a series of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1376255321180728\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">clever Instagram videos<\/a> featuring iconic San Antonio sites like the Alamo, La Antorcha de la Amistad, Pearl, and the North Star Mall boots. At the time, it only teased the exact suite, but later revealed it was moving into the former home of Mash\u2019d.<\/p>\n<p>Sunny\u2019s debuted at Boerne\u2019s 518 River Rd. on June 16, 2025. The concept is similar to national chains like First Watch and Snooze, but the offerings go far beyond the pancakes and Benedicts offered at similar restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>Several dishes have a Tex-Mex influence, like birria Benedicts with hollandaise and pico de gallo. Sunny\u2019s also offers bowls with veggies, proteins, and sauces ranging from a zippy citrus glaze to spicy sriracha. Flapjacks are on the menu, but customers may want to opt for one of the signature sweet and savory crepes.<\/p>\n<p>Sunny\u2019s also doesn\u2019t neglect lunch appetites. The small entree menu features mains like burgers, seared salmon with a corn salad, and various sandwiches. Kids can choose from plates like a short stack, chicken fingers, and a brioche grilled cheese.<\/p>\n<p>The new location is likely to be as popular for its carefully honed aesthetic as its fare. The restaurant is filled with TikTok-friendly decor like a vintage Volkswagen Beetle decorated with sunflowers and faux lemons, a tropical ceiling mural, and fringed cabana umbrellas on the patio.<\/p>\n<p>Following the June 15 debut, Sunny\u2019s will be open daily, 8 am-4 pm, but soon fans will be able to visit at night.
