Taiwan Expo USA is returning to the U.S. August 14-16 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas to highlight the \u201cvibrant and resilient\u201d economic relationship between the U.S. and Taiwan. The expo\u2019s return comes in a time of increased focus on the country\u2019s relations amid Trump administration tariffs and tensions with China.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Expo will feature a cultural and technological opening ceremony, a strategic Taiwan\u2013U.S. Supply Chain Cooperation Forum, and five interactive pavilions, organizers said.<\/p>\n With the theme \u201cShared Vision, Stronger Partnership,\u201d Taiwan Expo 2025 will celebrate the growing collaboration between the two nations across innovation, cultural exchange, and global industry transformation.<\/p>\n Organizers said this year\u2019s free public event comes amid rising momentum for the U.S.\u2013Taiwan economic partnership.<\/p>\n According to Taiwan\u2019s Office of Trade Negotiations, Executive Yuan, the U.S. and Taiwan recorded a total bilateral goods trade volume of $158.6 billion in 2024, representing a 24.2% increase from 2023. Currently, Taiwan is the seventh-largest trading partner for the United States.<\/p>\n This surge, fueled by Taiwan\u2019s leadership in semiconductors and AI, reflects a deepening synergy between the two economies, organizers said.<\/p>\n Spotlight on Taiwan-U.S. partnerships<\/p>\n Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Chairman James C. F. Huang, will deliver opening remarks alongside distinguished guests. The program will also include the inauguration of the Taiwan Trade and Investment Service Center in Dallas, reinforcing Taiwan\u2019s commitment to deepening economic ties across the U.S. The opening ceremony will conclude with a VIP-guided tour and luncheon reception, launching the three-day Expo with energy and momentum.<\/p>\n On Aug. 14, the Taiwan\u2013U.S. Supply Chain Cooperation Forum will convene industry leaders, policymakers, and academics to exchange insights, foster partnerships, and co-create an innovative supply chain ecosystem that strengthens bilateral cooperation. The Forum will spotlight discussions around U.S.\u2013Taiwan leadership in shaping global supply chains, underscoring shared strategies in cross-border collaboration, smart manufacturing, and regional economic resilience, organizers said.<\/p>\n The program will open with \u201cIntelligent Alliances,\u201d setting the stage for two focused segments:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The sessions will feature industry leaders from Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), Phison, GlobalWafers, and the US-Taiwan Business Council.<\/p>\n An Expert Dialogue will further explore actionable pathways for enhancing supply chain resilience, such as leveraging government incentives, fostering regionalization, and strengthening cross-border synergies, organizers said.
