Rosie O’Donnell<\/strong> is hitting the red carpet and showing off her dramatic weight loss.<\/p>\n

The legendary comedian, 63, prepared to head to the premiere of Burlesque: The Musical earlier this week. Sporting a gray blazer and black pants emblazoned with graffiti reading “New York,” the American expat seemed thrilled to check out the lively show.<\/p>\n

“On my way to opening night of\u00a0#BURLESQUE<\/a>\u00a0in the west end to see my pal\u00a0@orfeh<\/a>\u00a0do her thing !!!! \ud83c\udf88\ud83c\udf39\u2764\ufe0f,” O’Donnell captioned the shot.<\/p>\n

Back in May, O’Donnell posted a photo of herself doing standup, and shared that she had been using an injectable prescription medicine called Mounjaro, which had caused her to lose weight. According to the Lilly website<\/a>, the medication is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.<\/p>\n

“I can’t believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydysmorphia,” O’Donnell wrote.<\/p>\n

O’Donnell went into more detail in a March TikTok video, sharing why she had started taking the medication. She also noted that in addition to starting the medication to deal with her health issues, she had been spending more time cooking for her child, Clay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight,” she explained. “But it\u2019s also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me.\u201d<\/p>\n

“I’m one of those people who’s always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large, instead of an XL or a XXL, I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking,” O’Donnell continued.<\/p>\n
