{"id":87241,"date":"2025-07-24T00:11:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T00:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/87241\/"},"modified":"2025-07-24T00:11:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T00:11:10","slug":"pbr-announces-new-multi-year-agreement-with-the-cw","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/87241\/","title":{"rendered":"PBR announces new multi-year agreement with The CW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Professional Bull Riders is moving quickly to find new broadcasting homes.<\/p>\n<p>Several weeks after <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/outdoor-sports\/fox-nation-entering-live-sports-pbr-media-rights-deal.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">agreeing to a deal with Fox Nation<\/a> to broadcast Friday night events, PBR has <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/tv\/news\/cw-professional-bull-riders-rights-1236468041\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced a new multi-year agreement with The CW<\/a>, which will now become the exclusive broadcast home of Saturday and Sunday PBR Camping World Team Series events.<\/p>\n<p>PBR events for CW will debut on Saturday, August 9 and continue for ten weeks before culminating in the league\u2019s final championship tournament on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith over-the-air access on Saturdays and Sundays, everyone, no matter where they are, can experience the excitement of bull riding games,\u201d said Sean Gleason, CEO and Commissioner, PBR, in a statement. \u201cThis partnership perfectly complements our existing television schedule, delivering even more thrilling action to fans, making it easier than ever for them to stay connected to the sport they love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both rights deals come on the heels of the bankruptcy of Merit Street Media, founded by TV personality Phil McGraw, and was the previous home for many of PBR\u2019s events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPBR on The CW brings a whole new level of grit, adrenaline, and edge-of-your-seat action to bull riding fans nationwide,\u201d said Mike Perman, senior vice president of sports for CW, in a statement. \u201cPaired with the NASCAR Xfinity Series, weekends on The CW will be a can\u2019t-miss destination to experience two of the nation\u2019s fastest-growing sports with some of the most passionate fanbases in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CW <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/the-cw\/sports-programming-moving-towards-profitability.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">continues to step up its live sports broadcasting<\/a> since being purchased by Nexstar Media. Along with PBR, the company has broadcasting rights for <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/the-cw\/remote-coverage-xfinity-race-nascar-studio.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASCAR Xfinity Series<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/wwe\/nxt-debut-the-cw-ratings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WWE NXT<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/cbs\/the-cw-pickup-beach-volleyball.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AVP beach volleyball<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/the-cw\/thom-brennaman-makes-castellanos-joke-during-cw-broadcast.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/college-football\/oregon-state-washington-state-nearing-tv-deal-the-cw.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pac-12<\/a> football games, and will add <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/the-cw\/pba-media-rights-deal-broadcast.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PBA professional bowling in 2026<\/a>. The CW will also host the <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/the-cw\/savannah-bananas-game-broadcast-summer-july-27.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broadcast network debut of the Savannah Bananas on July 27<\/a>, and they are <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/the-cw\/add-more-college-football-bowl-games.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on the hunt for more college football<\/a> to boot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Professional Bull Riders is moving quickly to find new broadcasting homes.
