The proposed opening date is July 1.<\/p>\n<p>The bank currently operates branches at its headquarters at 1001 Boston Post Road in Darien and at 138 Rowayton Ave. in Norwalk&#8217;s Rowayton section.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2006 as Darien Rowayton Bank, the institution has approximately $860 million in assets, according to the latest available FDIC data.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Darien-based DR Bank has received regulatory approval to open its first branch in New York.
