Tom Morello<\/a> announced he\u2019s touring arts centers, theaters, music halls, plaza rock clubs and casinos all over North America this fall as part of his \u2018Tom Morello & Friends Electric Full Band Show Tour.\u2019<\/p>\n While out and about, the Rage Against The Machine guitarist is slated to headline a trio of New York and New Jersey gigs.<\/p>\n Up first, the 61-year-old NYC native hits Brooklyn\u2019s Warsaw<\/a> on Tuesday, Nov. 18. After that, he and the \u201cfull band\u201d are scheduled to rock New York\u2019s Irving Plaza<\/a> on Wednesday, Nov. 19 and Atlantic City\u2019s Borgata Casino Music Box<\/a> on Friday, Nov. 21.<\/p>\n \u201cComing at you this fall! The last Big Event before they throw us all in jail!,\u201d the subversive shredder jested in his tour announcement via Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n Prior to the brief U.S. leg of the run, Morello is lending his talents to the annual Rocklahoma Festival (Aug. 30) and then heading North for a Canadian tour he\u2019s billed as \u201ca night of stories and music.\u201d<\/p>\n Over the past few weeks, the anti-establishment Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has played a handful of shows and festival dates in Canada. And, while we don\u2019t know what to expect from these upcoming autumnal tours, we found that he delivered 20+ tracks at most of his summer gigs, according to Set List FM<\/a>. His most recent non-festival concert at the time of publication took place at Toronto\u2019s Danforth Hall and was a 21-song affair that included RATM classics along with solo cuts and Nightwatchman favorites as well as surprise covers from artists as varied as Ozzy Osbourne, Woody Guthrie, Audioslave, Bruce Springsteen and John Lennon.<\/p>\n To close out the show, he shared the stage with Rush\u2019s Alex Lifeson and delivered a blistering interpretation of the legendary Canadian group\u2019s epic \u201cLimelight\u201d followed by a rendition of MC5\u2019s punchy \u201cKick Out the Jams.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe set unfolded like a revolution-in-progress\u2014carefully crafted, loud as hell, and impossible to ignore,\u201d Soundcheck Entertainment<\/a> raved about another recent gig of his in Edmonton. \u201c\u2026it was a rallying cry, a family celebration, and a musical gut-punch all rolled into one.
