The store will feature over 400 themed items to invoke nostalgia and celebrate the undeniable impact of Studio Ghibli on animation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The store boasts a design similar to the original Japanese locations, with inviting wooden shelves and forest-themed decor adorned with classic characters, making you feel as if you are walking through a film set. Upon arrival, fans are welcomed by a giant Totoro, the studio\u2019s mascot, waiting at a bus stop for the iconic cat bus.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before this announcement, fans of the legendary animation company were limited to buying official merchandise in Donguri Republic\u2019s various locations in Japan and across Asia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donguri Republic announced on Instagram that guests who spend $100 or more will receive a limited-edition, Los Angeles-branded tote bag, while supplies last.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DZnVybUnAuA\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\"background:#FFF;border:0;border-radius:3px;margin: 1px;max-width:540px;min-width:326px;padding:0;width:99.375%;width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px);width:calc(100% - 2px)\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This exciting opening coincides with the annual <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/gkids.com\/ghiblifest\/\">Studio Ghibli Fest<\/a>, in which the studio\u2019s acclaimed films return to movie theatres across the United States.
