Baker boasts 15 years of experience in finance, accounting and tax work. His background is in real estate, development and infrastructure-related projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cStephan\u2019s finance experience, real estate background and strategic mindset are an excellent fit for ETM as we continue to grow,\u201d said <strong>Tyler Mathews<\/strong>, President and CEO of ETM. \u201cStephan joins us at an important moment in our growth. His leadership will help our executive team continue building the discipline and infrastructure needed to support the opportunities ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baker has deep roots in the Jacksonville area and is a native of the city. He\u2019s also coming from Corner Lot, a land development firm that has been growing on the First Coast in recent years, where he was Vice President of Tax and Finance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baker has extensive tenures at other prominent firms in Jacksonville as well, including a stint as Senior Tax Manager for Ernst &amp; Young. He held the same position at KPMG and was a Senior Tax Associate for Smoak, Davis &amp; Nixon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colodnyfass.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-767195 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/FloridaPolitics.com_ColodnyFass_728x90.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baker acknowledged that landing the CFO post with ETM is a feather in his cap.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is helping shape communities across my hometown,\u201d Baker said. \u201cETM has a strong reputation, a talented team and a clear vision for growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baker was a standout football player at the private Bolles School in Jacksonville and went on to play at Towson University on a scholarship. He earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting from the college. He obtained a master\u2019s degree in accounting at the Nova Southeastern University campus in Jacksonville.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ETM is a high-profile contractor with a history of projects with various governments throughout Florida.
