(KY3) &#8211; Springfield Public Schools is enforcing a new cell phone-electronic device policy for the 2025-2026 school year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed a new state law prohibiting students from using or displaying any personal electronic communication devices during the school day. The law includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list | article-list\">\n<li>Cell phones<\/li>\n<li>Smartwatches<\/li>\n<li>Headphones <\/li>\n<li>Wireless earbuds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Students must turn off devices.
