{"id":878486,"date":"2026-06-19T15:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T15:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/878486\/"},"modified":"2026-06-19T15:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T15:14:14","slug":"east-west-connector-at-dallas-fort-worth-international-airport-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/878486\/","title":{"rendered":"East-West Connector at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport opens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA 1.65-mile stretch of road within the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfwairport.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dallas Fort Worth International Airport<\/a> campus opened June 12.<\/p>\n<p>The $30.8 million <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.ctfassets.net\/m2p70vmwc019\/5zRtT3XjsyzzxZYKPf1ycL\/31f0c91718a9113054a1a5ed9188c2ef\/EWC_Fact_Sheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">East-West Connector<\/a> was first envisioned nearly 20 years ago to connect transportation in the airport\u2019s southern corridor, according to a news <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfwairport.com\/dfwnewsroom\/dfw-airport-marks-completion-of-east-west-connector-roadway\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The roadway extends from Rental Car Drive to the Harwood Drive\/SH 360 intersection and will connect drivers to the Southgate Plaza, near Terminal E and the under-construction Terminal F.<\/p>\n<p>The project was funded through federal transportation programs and administered by the North Central Texas Council of Governments, which provided approximately 80% of the funding.
