The show averaged 1.8 million viewers throughout the week, up 11% from its season-to-date numbers \u2014 making it the third most-watched week for the soap since \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d premiered in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMeanwhile, \u201cThe Young and the Restless\u201d also saw a slight uptick during the week of June 8, with 3.11 million viewers \u2014 up 2% from its season average (3.06 million viewers) thanks to a visit from guest stars Shemar Moore\u00a0and\u00a0Vivica A. Fox.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d crossover, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/cbs-the-young-and-the-restless-beyond-the-gates-crossover-1236642628\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">first announced in January<\/a>, centered on six characters from \u201cYoung and the Restless\u201d (Eric Braeden, Michael Mealor, Peter Bergman, Susan Walters, Melissa Ordway and Bryton James) appearing for the multi-episode event. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAs a result, \u201cBeyond the Gates\u201d scored its most-watched Thursday (on June 11, 1.83 million viewers, up 11% from the previous week) and Friday (June 12, 1.84 million viewers, up 11% from the previous week) ever. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe show\u2019s Tuesday (June 9, 1.80 million viewers, up 16% from the same day in 2025) was its most-watched Tuesday since February 24, and its Wednesday (June 10, 1.87 million viewers \u2014 up 17% from the previous week) was its most-watched Tuesday since Feb. 24.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHere was the logline for the crossover: \u201cLongtime friends Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis, \u2018Beyond the Gates\u2019) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden, \u2018The Young and the Restless\u2019) reunite at a high-profile political fundraiser, with the event\u00a0transporting six iconic residents from Y&amp;R\u2019s Genoa City that included Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) into BTG\u2019s posh gated community, Fairmont Crest, culminating in a shocking tornado.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAs for \u201cThe Young and the Restless,\u201d Moore and Fox appeared on the June 8 and June 9 episodes.
