He argued that AI will boost human creativity.\u00a0Giving the example of his latest venture, Prometheus, an AI startup,\u00a0which\u00a0aims to build an \u201cartificial general engineer\u201d, Bezos argued that the project speeds up innovation and creates new industries, ultimately leading to a labour shortage rather than mass unemployment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAI is going to create a labour shortage because it\u2019s going to make it possible for people to identify more problems,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tShow Full Article<\/p>\n<p>He added that the technology will help bring to life ideas previously considered impossible.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we can accelerate the dream-build loop, all of the ideas will then become possible. And then we end up being limited not by our capabilities but by our imaginations,\u201d the 62-year-old said during a session moderated by former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino. Elon Musk, Zohran Mamdani wade in<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>One small step for Bezos, one large leap for mankind\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Europe\u2019s largest tech expo, the American businessman\u00a0went on to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euronews.com\/next\/2026\/06\/17\/jeff-bezos-at-vivatech-we-need-to-colonise-the-moon-to-save-earth\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">outline<\/a>\u00a0his plans for a lunar base.<\/p>\n<p>Bezos described his vision for space exploration as \u201csupply constrained, not demand constrained.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that the Moon would be a natural starting point thanks to its proximity and resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to the Moon to stay, not just to visit,\u201d Bezos said. He argued that<\/p>\n<p>Materials lifted from the lunar surface require 28 times less energy than those launched from Earth, making the satellite a potential supplier for deeper space missions.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say that further expansions would follow, including a colony on Mars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will build colonies on Mars and so on.
