{"id":88231,"date":"2025-07-24T09:00:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T09:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/88231\/"},"modified":"2025-07-24T09:00:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T09:00:11","slug":"mental-health-leave-rules-proposed-for-military-officers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/88231\/","title":{"rendered":"Mental health leave rules proposed for military officers"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"as boxTitle boxText\" data-desc=\"\u5206\u4eab\u5217\">\n<li>\n<p>By Aaron Tu and Jake Chung  \/  Staff reporter, with staff writer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Active-duty military officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) would be eligible for three days of mental health leave per year as soon as the end of this year, the Ministry of National Defense said in proposed amendments to the Leave Regulations for the Military\u2019s Commissioned and Non-commissioned Officers (\u570b\u8ecd\u8ecd\u5b98\u58eb\u5b98\u8acb\u5047\u898f\u5247), Chinese-language media reported yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry on July 11 posted its proposed changes to the regulations, with the text open to public comment until Monday next week.<\/p>\n<p>Superior officers are prohibited from refusing a request for mental health leave, the proposed amendments say.<\/p>\n<p>                        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/P01-250724-319.jpg\" width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Photo: Ritchie B.
