Minister Anthony Albanese, after he lashed out at One Nation for receiving support from Gina Rinehart.<\/p>\n<p>Analysis of Australian Electoral Commission disclosures showed Mr Albanese\u2019s Labor Party benefitted from a handful of billionaires in financial year 2024-25.<\/p>\n<p>These include rich listers who have either personally donated to Labor or whose companies and investment vehicles have provided financial support to the party.<\/p>\n<p>Among them were billionaires Anthony Pratt through Pratt Holdings, Lindsay Fox through Fox Group and Linfox Property Group and Kerry Stokes via Australian Capital Equity.<\/p>\n<p>There were also donations from Andrew Forrest through Fortescue Metals Group and Tattarang, Meriton founder Harry Triguboff and gambling entrepreneur Edward Craven.<\/p>\n<p>Labor also received donations from Manildra Holdings, chaired by billionaire Dick Honan and Coinbase, founded by billionaires Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam.<\/p>\n<p>Pratt Holdings, controlled by Anthony Pratt, disclosed two donations of $1 million each to the ALP.<\/p>\n<p>Fox Group Holdings, linked to Lindsay Fox, provided a $500,000 donation and additional receipts, while Linfox Property Group also gave $10,000 to the party.<\/p>\n<p>Australian Capital Equity, the private investment company of Kerry Stokes, donated $200,000 to the Western Australian branch of Labor.<\/p>\n<p>Victorian Labor received two donations of $150,000 from billionaire bookmaker Edward Craven.<\/p>\n<p>Meriton Properties, founded by billionaire developer Harry Triguboff, also donated $100,000 to the Labor Party.<\/p>\n<p>Labor also received receipts from Fortescue Metals Group and Tattarang, both associated with Andrew and Nicola Forrest.<\/p>\n<p>The revelations come after Mr Albanese attacked his surging rival, Pauline Hanson, for receiving a roughly <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skynews.com.au\/australia-news\/politics\/one-nation-leader-pauline-hanson-unveils-sexy-new-plane-following-scrutiny-of-gina-rineharts-private-jet-travel\/news-story\/4216d07bad220e40295de2b89d47acbe\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"4216d07bad220e40295de2b89d47acbe\" data-tgev-label=\"australia-news\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">$1.5 million jet from billionaire Gina Rinehart<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman for Hancock Prospecting confirmed the brand new Cirrus G7 was donated to Senator Hanson by a company owned by Ms Rinehart.<\/p>\n<p>Ms <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skynews.com.au\/australia-news\/politics\/gina-rinehart-gifts-pauline-hanson-a-beautiful-orange-bulldozer-as-she-calls-for-an-end-to-bureaucracy-and-government-waste\/news-story\/7501f34c50ff0172ef19a2a49553acc7\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"7501f34c50ff0172ef19a2a49553acc7\" data-tgev-label=\"australia-news\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rinehart also personally gave Senator Hanson a giant orange toy bulldozer<\/a> at the News Corp Future Townsville Forum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact is that One Nation pretend that they stand for battlers whilst getting planes given to them by Australia&#8217;s richest person,\u201d Mr Albanese said.<\/p>\n<p>He accused One Nation of \u201creceiving donations from some of the very wealthiest people\u201d, while pledging to make it easier for businesses to dismiss employees.<\/p>\n<p>According to the latest Sky News Pulse \/ YouGov survey, conducted from June 9 to 16, <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skynews.com.au\/australia-news\/politics\/one-nation-leads-primary-vote-as-80-per-cent-of-voters-say-party-ready-to-govern-by-2028-sky-news-pulse-yougov-poll\/news-story\/0943b53d79d1e4fb27860c4020be7642\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"0943b53d79d1e4fb27860c4020be7642\" data-tgev-label=\"australia-news\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">One Nation has captured 28 per cent of the primary vote<\/a>, ahead of Labor on 26 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Albanese has grown increasingly frustrated at the rise of One Nation, complaining about the media coverage the party and its leader have received.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister complained about Senator Hanson receiving \u201ceffectively a free ad\u201d over media coverage about her raising $4 million for her \u201cFire the Liar\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey get a run in the media, they had an ad for their fundraising campaign, effectively a free ad, in one of the mainstream publications,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;ll continue to actually be interested in making a difference to people&#8217;s lives and that is what we will focus National Press Club address, where she was met with protests.<\/p>\n<p>She used her <a class=\"body-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.skynews.com.au\/australia-news\/politics\/one-nation-leader-pauline-hanson-faces-journalists-in-first-ever-appearance-at-national-press-club\/news-story\/8552a29bf7687dbb802532e1dc1e4291\" data-tgev=\"event119\" data-tgev-container=\"bodylink\" data-tgev-order=\"8552a29bf7687dbb802532e1dc1e4291\" data-tgev-label=\"australia-news\" data-tgev-metric=\"ev\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">speech to outline One Nation&#8217;s platform despite the interruptions<\/a>, following claims from the Albanese government the party does not have any policies.<\/p>\n<p>The One Nation leader identified immigration, energy, cultural issues, and government spending as key concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The party has been met with questions about how it would fund its election promises, after claiming it would increase defence spending to 3.5 per cent of GDP.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Hanson told Sky News a One Nation government would lift defence spending to 3.5 per cent of GDP, based on the domestic calculation of the figure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to increase it.
