PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Philadelphia will be hosting international audiences for tomorrow’s France vs. Iraq World Cup game.<\/p>\n

As people experience the city for the first time, a Chester County woman will be their tour guide.<\/p>\n

Magali Girerd is offering a historical walk-through of Philadelphia completely spoken in French.<\/p>\n

” I love this city…Usually people say that they can sense my love of Philadelphia through my tours, and that’s my biggest compliment I can have from them,” said Girerd.<\/p>\n

“It was my job in France, too. I’ve always worked in the museum field. I just moved to the US seven years ago…it’s very exciting to do this here in Philadelphia and help French and Francophone people understand why Philadelphia had this importance in American history,” she continued.<\/p>\n
