After teasing a Parker County location for a few months now, The Sour Boule officially announced<\/a> a second location will open in Willow Park.<\/p>\n

The bakery opened in 2023 and gained popularity for their scratch-made sourdough sandwiches<\/a>, bagels, pastries and homemade pickles. After less than a year, The Sour Boule\u2019s<\/a> popularity pushed them to expand into a larger space next door to the original cafe at 3801 Southwest Blvd. in west Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

Now, they will open their second location at 280 Willow Bend Drive in Willow Park<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The new store will have an expanded menu, with new items that aren\u2019t offered at the flagship location, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n

When will The Sour Boule open in Willow Park?<\/p>\n

The Sour Boule location in Willow Park is still under construction.<\/p>\n

In their Facebook announcement<\/a>, they said they aren\u2019t quite ready to share an opening timeline or hours. They have also not yet responded to the Star-Telegram for further comment.<\/p>\n

However, the new location is hiring front of horse baristas and back of house pre and production \u201csandwich artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

What\u2019s on The Sour Boule menu?<\/p>\n

All menu items at The Sour Boule<\/a> are made with slow-fermented sourdough, in-house cured deli meats and natural ingredients. Many of their menu items are named after the iconic \u201890s sitcom \u201cFriends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Popular items include their rosemary garlic sourdough bagels, which you can turn into a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich.<\/p>\n

For lunch<\/a>, the cafe\u2019s namesake sandwich, \u201cThe Sour Boule,\u201d has chicken, American cheese, tomatoes, and pickle slaw on fresh sourdough. You can also get this spicy with chipotle mayo instead of the standard mayo.<\/p>\n

The \u201cI Got Nothin\u2019\u201d sandwich is a panini-pressed pastrami sandwich, easily a crowd favorite.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe One With Cranberry\u201d is a play on Monica\u2019s \u201cmoist maker\u201d from the episode, \u201cThe One With Ross\u2019 Sandwich.\u201d This item has mayo, turkey, fresh sprouts, cranberry sauce, and cream cheese on sourdough.<\/p>\n

Pickles are served with every sandwich in flavors like spicy tajin, oregano and ranch. Their house-made potato chips are fried in beef tallow.<\/p>\n

Where to try The Sour Boule in Fort Worth<\/p>\n

The Fort Worth Sour Boule location can be found at 3801 Southwest Blvd.<\/b> off the Benbrook Traffic Circle.<\/p>\n

They are open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n
