{"id":884376,"date":"2026-06-22T07:24:28","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T07:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/884376\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T07:24:28","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T07:24:28","slug":"reports-hawks-acquire-guard-aaron-wiggins-from-thunder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/884376\/","title":{"rendered":"Reports: Hawks acquire guard Aaron Wiggins from Thunder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2245639\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2245639\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/GettyImages_A_Wiggins.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\"  \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-2245639\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Hawks are reportedly acquiring Aaron Wiggins from the Thunder.<\/p>\n<p>The Hawks are reportedly acquiring another veteran with playoff experience.<\/p>\n<p>ESPN\u2019s Shams Charania reported Sunday night that Atlanta will acquire guard Aaron Wiggins from the Thunder in exchange for two future 2nd round draft picks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7382061\/2026\/06\/21\/aaron-wiggins-traded-thunder-hawks\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Athletic also reported on the trade.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wiggins, a member of Oklahoma City\u2019s championship team in 2024-25, averaged 9.4 points per game on 43.1 percent shooting from the field in the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n<p>For his career, the 27-year-old is averaging 8.7 points a game on 48.7 percent shooting. He\u2019s played all five of his seasons with the Thunder after being drafted in the 2nd round of the 2021 NBA Draft.
