{"id":885716,"date":"2026-06-22T21:38:19","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T21:38:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/885716\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T21:38:19","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T21:38:19","slug":"six-flags-over-texas-delays-launch-of-record-breaking-dive-coaster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/885716\/","title":{"rendered":"Six Flags Over Texas delays launch of record-breaking dive coaster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Six Flags Over Texas is delaying the launch of its highly anticipated dive coaster, Tormenta Rampaging Run, according to an email the park sent to passholders Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we continue preparing for its debut, the commissioning and testing process is taking longer than expected,\u201d the email reads. \u201cRight now, the storm is still gathering strength, and we\u2019ve decided to give it a little more time before we unleash it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The park did not share in the email how long the delay is expected to last but said a new opening date would be shared \u201cas soon as it\u2019s ready to be announced.\u201d Six Flags representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The attraction is marketed as the world\u2019s first-ever \u201cgiga dive coaster\u201d\u00a0\u2014 an over-300-foot coaster that pauses before dropping riders into a vertical plunge.
