PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A person is in the hospital recovering from burns after a fire erupted in a southwest Phoenix house on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Fire crews were called to a house on Encinas Lane, north of Broadway Road and west of 75th Avenue<\/a>, around 5:45 p.m.<\/p>\n

\"ItIt happened near 75th Avenue and Broadway Road.(Phoenix Fire Department)<\/p>\n

When they arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming from the home. Some firefighters quickly battled the fire while others searched the house for anyone inside.<\/p>\n

All five people who lived there made it out. One of them was taken to the hospital with burns. <\/p>\n

Paramedics checked a neighbor, who did not need to go to the hospital.<\/p>\n

No firefighters were hurt.<\/p>\n

The five people will have to stay elsewhere as the house suffered severe damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n
