The near-decade-old Wardrobe.NYC label, founded by Josh Goot and Vogue Australia Editor in Chief Christine Centenera, may not be as globally renowned as H&amp;M\u2019s recent designer partners, but the mass retailer is passionate about the minimalist-driven collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>When H&amp;M first approached Wardrobe.NYC a little over a year ago, there was immediate buy-in. According to Goot, the goal was straightforward, and not too dissimilar from Wardrobe NYC\u2019s own: to build the perfect capsule collection. \u201cYou don\u2019t need any more pieces than you will have in this collection, to be honest,\u201d Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&amp;M\u2019s Creative Advisor and Head of Design told Vogue. \u201cYou can just have them on constant rotation and create new looks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Image may contain Clothing Pants Formal Wear Suit Long Sleeve Sleeve Coat Adult and Person\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ResponsiveImageContainer-dkeESL cQPiWi responsive-image__image\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/NA90263P04-Portrait-Lookbook-300ppi-02.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Photo: H&amp;M<\/p>\n<p>The lineup, which launches online and in select H&amp;M stores on August 6, draws from Wardrobe.NYC\u2019s sleek archive. \u201cWe looked back at our work and distilled down what we thought was the most essential, the most timeless, yet still of the moment that could combine to create a singular statement,\u201d said Goot. At first glance, a T-shirt bodysuit may feel simple, but like any good elevated basic, it has a special twist (in this case, statement\u2013making padded shoulders). The tailored denim mini skirt has something special going on too; its exposed seams give it an edgy corset-like feel.
