Jenny Mollen jokingly called her 12-year-old son Sid a \u201cpredator\u201d while addressing the \u201cweird\u201d backlash to their intimate bed photos.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIf you knew my son, he\u2019s really the predator, not me,\u201d the 47-year-old actress told host Amanda Hirsch on Tuesday\u2019s episode of the \u201cNot Skinny But Not Fat\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s the one who\u2019s f\u2014ing all over me,\u201d Mollen continued. \u201cI\u2019ve been trying to lock him out of the bathroom for the last 12 years. He just wants my undivided [attention].\u201d<\/p>\n

Mollen (seen above being interviewed by Hirsch) said Sid is \u201cthe one who\u2019s f\u2014ing all over me.\u201d Not Skinny But Not Fat\/YouTube<\/p>\n

Last month, Mollen, who shares sons Sid and Lazlo, 8, with estranged husband Jason Biggs<\/a>, sparked outrage for posting two Instagram photos<\/a> of her lying on top of her oldest child in bed.<\/p>\n

Her controversial caption read, \u201cYour eldest son will be the most toxic boyfriend you ever have.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the podcast, Mollen doubled down on her post and revealed that Sid knows about the drama surrounding it.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s like a little spider monkey on me, and I\u2019m in trouble,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd now he\u2019s like, \u2018Get away from me, you molester,\u2019 just to f\u2013k with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cAngel\u201d actress also explained that she thinks the timing of her and Biggs\u2019 split played a role in the backlash she got.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think if I made this joke a month, or two months ago, it would have played differently,\u201d she said, noting that if she \u201cwas publicly with a man\u201d when she shared the photos on May 25, things may have transpired differently.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I think that there\u2019s something about a woman who is not attached to a man that somehow reads as a threat, dangerous,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n

Earlier in the interview, Mollen elaborated on why she called her oldest son \u201ctoxic\u201d in her caption.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like, this is the joke I\u2019ve been making forever,\u201d she shared. \u201cLike, I\u2019m in this dysfunctional relationship with a guy who\u2019s like, \u2018Can you hold my head while I vomit into the toilet?\u2019 \u2018Can you give me a full body massage before bed?\u2019 \u2018Can you be a dear and put more ice in my water bottle?\u2019 Like, this is the treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s the dictator,\u201d she jokingly continued. \u201cAnd I live in this autocratic regime where I have to like \u2026 it\u2019s like, thumbs up or thumbs down. Off with my head if I f\u2014ing serve you sun-butter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mollen previously defended the intimate bed photos and caption in a June 8 Substack essay<\/a>, explaining that the pictures were taken after Sid came home from a weekend away.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I look at that picture, I see a 12-year-old boy who still wants his mother, and a woman trying to hold on to closeness and connection at a time in her life when everything else is changing,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

On the podcast, Mollen clarified that the pair\u2019s relationship is \u201cstill romantic\u201d<\/a> and that they continue to be \u201camazing\u201d co-parents to their two sons.<\/p>\n
