Taking place over four days this July, the convention will feature a diverse lineup of events, including special guest appearances, concerts, exhibitions, and sumo wrestling matches. Read on for essential details about attending this year\u2019s convention.<\/p>\n<p>When\/where is the Anime Matsuri Convetion? <\/p>\n<p>Anime Matsuri takes place at the <strong>George R. Brown Convention Center<\/strong>\u00a0located at 1001 Avenida de las Americas from <strong>July 23 \u2013 July 26, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What to expect at Anime Matsuri in Houston? <\/p>\n<p>Throughout the four-day event, the convention will feature a wide array of anime-focused activities, interactive activations, and attractions. Anchoring the festival is the massive<strong> Exhibit Hall<\/strong>. The sprawling marketplace will be packed with vendors and an artist alley.<\/p>\n<p>Car enthusiasts will be able to find <strong>Import Reactor,<\/strong> Anime Matsuri\u2019s Car Show and Exhibition that brings import vehicles and Itasha culture directly to the convention\u2019s Red Carpet area in Exhibit Hall E. <\/p>\n<p>This same Red Carpet zone will feature <strong>prominent local and professional cosplayers<\/strong> selling prints and hosting photo-ops, while a <strong>dedicated gaming section <\/strong>will run competitive tournaments and free-play sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Other special events slated for Anime Matsuri include the <strong>Karaoke Battle<\/strong> (July 23), <strong>Princess Party <\/strong>(July 24), and <strong>Fashion Show<\/strong> (July 24). Kids Weekend Passes are priced at $37.40 (+ fees).
