{"id":887574,"date":"2026-06-23T16:52:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T16:52:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/887574\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T16:52:25","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T16:52:25","slug":"haley-cavinder-jake-ferguson-wanted-guests-to-let-loose-at-starry-wedding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/887574\/","title":{"rendered":"Haley Cavinder, Jake Ferguson wanted guests to &#8216;let loose&#8217; at starry wedding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Miami Hurricanes star Haley Cavinder and Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson\u00a0agreed on a set of rules in the early stages of planning their beachfront Miami wedding \u2014 and \u201cno kids allowed\u201d was on the list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking [Cowboys quarterback] Dak Prescott for a picture,\u201d a laughing Ferguson said in a joint <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/gallery\/inside-haley-cavinder-and-jake-fergusons-wedding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">interview with GQ.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just didn\u2019t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pair\u2019s other conditions included a private first look and vows, no slow-dancing, \u201cYMCA,\u201d or \u201cCha Cha Slide\u201d during the reception and a mini honeymoon in the Bahamas.<\/p>\n<p>Cavinder and Ferguson tied the knot at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, which he said was the perfect venue for a \u201cbig party with all our people.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hanna Cavinder, her twin sister and former Hurricanes\u2019 teammate, served as maid of honor. <\/p>\n<p>Ferguson\u2019s former Cowboys teammate, quarterback Will Grier, officiated the ceremony.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/04\/sports\/how-haley-and-hanna-cavinder-struck-while-iron-was-hot-to-create-expansive-business-empire-after-nil-fame\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">25-year-old influencer <\/a>\u2014 who was a 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit digital cover cover model \u00b8\u2014 wore a custom lace princess gown from the designer Galia Lahav. <\/p>\n<p>Ferguson wore a\u00a0Bond-esque white dinner jacket\u00a0tailored by Mitch Purgason of Stitched by Mitch, who has made nearly every suit the two-time Pro Bowler has worn during his four seasons in the NFL, all with Dallas. <\/p>\n<p>There was a ranch dressing fountain at the reception. <\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.66699219;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39763592\" width=\"394\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/haley.jpg\" alt=\"Haley Cavinder on her wedding day in Miami.  \" class=\"wp-image-39763592\"  \/>Haley Cavinder on her wedding day in Miami.
