Two Michigan stars believe their former head coach can carry over his success to the\u00a0NBA.<\/p>\n

Before the NBA draft’s first round began Tuesday night, Yaxel Lendeborg and Morez Johnson Jr.<\/a> spoke to ESPN about Dusty May’s move to the Dallas Mavericks. Both players had similar statements on the head coach, saying they think he’ll be a good fit in Dallas.<\/p>\n

“He’s a guy who really cares for your well-being, not just what you can do for him on the court,” Lendeborg told ESPN<\/a>. “He puts away all that stuff aside and steps in like a father-figure role and really cares.”<\/p>\n

“He brings consistency. He’s going to show up and be the same guy every day,”\u00a0Johnson\u00a0said<\/a>. He’s gonna set the standard, but he’s also going to follow the standard as well. He’s not just gonna say something and do the opposite. He’s a great guy.
