Tottenham fans are growing tired of the Morgan Gibbs-White saga, with many now calling on the club to walk away from the deal and explore other options.<\/strong><\/p>\n

July 21, Monday, was largely touted as a crucial day in the Morgan Gibbs-White transfer saga, as rumours had it that Gibbs-White wanted his future sorted before Nottingham Forest headed out for their tour of Portugal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Forest midfielder did miss the trip to Portugal with the rest of his teammates on Monday<\/a>, but it was claimed that it was for personal reasons and it had nothing to do with Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Gibbs-White was expected to link up with his Forest teammates later this week, and now new reports have confirmed that Gibbs-White has flown to Portugal to meet Nuno Espirito Santos\u2019 men<\/a> ahead of their two friendly games in Portugal.<\/p>\n

Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> fans have now shared their reaction to the latest update, and many are growing tired of the back and forth between the clubs, with several urging Tottenham to pursue other alternatives.<\/p>\n

One fan said: \u201cWhy does it feel like this is gonna be one of those deals where we do not sign the player and then do not sign anyone else and we are all like \u2018what happened to that 60m then?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Another fan added: \u201cIt is so over lol.\u201d One more commented: \u201cThis whole saga is getting boring now. There are better options out there for less money, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third urged Tottenham to make a move for Rodrygo, who Spurs were reported to have been linked with: \u201cMove onto Rodrygo\ud83d\udc4d sonnys moving on and we need a star (2010-13 Bale, 2015-2021 Kane, now 2025+ Rodrygo).\u201d<\/p>\n

Another supporter stated: \u201cSurely there are better players out there for that sort of money. He is not that special. But why have Spurs not gone in for other players? 2-3 players are still needed!!\u201d<\/p>\n

One fan stated that Morgan Gibbs-White does not want the Tottenham move: \u201cMove on from this guy, he does not want the move.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sentiments to move on kept raging on: \u201cDefo time to move on! So bored of hearing about MGW! If he wanted the move, he would have put in a transfer request by now!\u201d<\/p>\n

Spurs risk missing out on other targets amid Gibbs-White delay<\/p>\n

There is no doubt that the sentiments of the Tottenham fans are very valid, as Spurs<\/a> have been chasing Morgan Gibbs-White<\/a> for well over two weeks now, and still, no breakthrough has been made.<\/p>\n

In fact, while Tottenham wait for the former Wolves man, other great alternatives are being picked up by rival clubs in the transfer market.<\/p>\n

Spurs have been linked with a move for Xavi Simons<\/a>, but now Simons is edging closer to a move to Chelsea<\/a>, in a deal that could cost the same as Gibbs-White\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Tottenham cannot afford to keep dragging their feet, as other sides continue to improve their squad well ahead of the start of the season.<\/p>\n
