To help flatten, tone, and <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eatthis.com\/core-strengthening-exercises\/\" target=\"_blank\">strengthen your midsection<\/a>, we spoke with <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/steve-stonehouse-312a538\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Steve Stonehouse, NASM-CPT<\/b><\/a> and VP of education for <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyfittraining.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Body Fit Training<\/a>, who shares a three-move <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eatthis.com\/daily-ab-workout-for-beginners\/\" target=\"_blank\">ab combo workout<\/a> you can seamlessly weave into your fitness routine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny exercise that targets your core\u2014including your abs, hip flexors, obliques, glutes, and more\u2014is going to be helpful for sculpting and defining your abdomen,\u201d Steve explains. \u201c<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eatthis.com\/daily-exercises-burn-belly-fat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Burning belly fat<\/a> is best done through cardio, such as running or cycling, but strength training can also contribute to belly fat burn by building lean muscle and improving your metabolism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Below, Steve breaks down his top-recommended three-move ab combo. The best part? These exercises are low-impact.
