2026 U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark<\/strong> has plenty to celebrate both on and off the course these days.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Clark, 32, who won his second U.S. Open title on Sunday, June 21<\/a>, after emerging victorious in dramatic fashion at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, is fresh off going public with his girlfriend, model Emily Tanner<\/strong><\/a>, at the Masters in April.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 23, Clark said he met Tanner, 31, through a mutual friend after \u201cbeing a fan of hers for quite a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was with a buddy of mine, and one of his friends was there, and he was like, \u2018Hey, man, I got this girl that is a good friend of mine and she\u2019s recently single and she\u2019s accomplished,’\u201d Clark recalled. \u201cHe said all of these nice things. I go, \u2018Oh, cool, can I see a picture of her?\u2019 He shows me Emily, and I go, \u2018No way, I\u2019ve had a crush on her forever.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark and Tanner, who boasts over 740,000 followers on Instagram, went on their first date in San Diego and have \u201cbeen inseparable since.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s a huge part of my success,\u201d Clark said. \u201cWe joke and call her my at-home caddie because she helps me with everything off the course. She just makes me so happy. We have so much fun together. When I\u2019m away from golf, I\u2019m able to decompress and not think about it because we truly just enjoy each other\u2019s time. She\u2019s amazing. She makes everything stress-free for me. She\u2019s my biggest supporter, and she\u2019s always out there watching me.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI\u2019m just happy and satisfied where I am off the course. I\u2019m in love.\u201d<\/p>\n

In their free time, Clark and Tanner \u2014 who graduated from Michigan State University and founded her own marketing agency \u2014 enjoy indulging in the finer things in life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe love to walk and get our matchas, of course,\u201d Clark said. \u201cWe are foodies, so we love to go to good restaurants and try things. We both love wine, so we\u2019ll have a nice glass of wine at dinner. She\u2019s obviously into fashion, so sometimes we\u2019ll go look at clothes and have fun doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cWe just love spending time together. It doesn\u2019t matter what it is. We travel a ton, obviously, for my job, but we also love to travel together. We love the beach. We do anything and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next month, Clark will play in the 2026 Rocket Mortgage in Miller\u2019s home state of Michigan, which will represent a big step in their relationship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m actually staying with her family that week,\u201d Clark explained. \u201cShe\u2019s going to have a bunch of her friends and family come out and watch me. I\u2019ll have quite the support group. And she\u2019s going to take me to some of her favorite childhood restaurants.
