It was about time ATEEZ <\/a>brought their popular VR concert<\/a>, ATEEZ: Light the Way, to theaters. In a partnership with AMAZE and KQ Entertainment, Trafalgar Releasing will release ATEEZ : Light the Way In Cinemas worldwide on August 6 and 8. South Korea will experience the film on August 19. Japan\u2019s film release date will be announced later.<\/p>\n

Following the success of their 2025 theatrical release of ATEEZ World Tour [Towards The Light : Will To Power] In Cinemas, ATEEZ : LIGHT THE WAY IN CINEMAS will adapt AMAZE\u2019s immersive VR experience and adjust it for traditional large-format cinema. Audiences do not need to worry about bringing a VR headset or finding a location with one. Instead, it\u2019ll be shown in theaters in 8K resolution with multi-camera coverage and 5.1 surround sound, offering a premier cinema experience.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to collaborate with the AMAZE team to bring a reimagined version of their innovative ATEEZ VR concert experience to cinemas worldwide,\u201d said Marc Allenby, Chief Executive Officer of Trafalgar Releasing, in a press release. \u201cWith ATEEZ’s proven success in cinemas, we believe this new presentation, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes sequences, will offer fans a fresh way to connect with the group on a truly cinematic scale.”<\/p>\n

Audiences will experience the group performing their popular hit songs, \u201cINCEPTION,\u201d \u201cBOUNCY (K-Hot Chili Peppers),\u201d and \u201cIce On My Teeth.\u201d For fans who have seen the film in VR, the theatrical event will feature 20 minutes of exclusive, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage that goes beyond the music \u2013 available only in theaters. Local theaters may also be offering exclusive photocard fan gifts.<\/p>\n

The official synopsis for ATEEZ : LIGHT THE WAY IN CINEMAS reads:<\/p>\n

One day, a mysterious message arrives for ATEEZ, who had been spending a peaceful time in their hideout. At that moment, everything began to change. ATINY has vanished\u2026 As if under a spell, ATEEZ wanders through a dreamlike wasteland, into a collapsing world engulfed in flames, and the Dark City veiled in dense fog. Pursued by an unknown force, ATEEZ begins to fight back to find ATINY.<\/p>\n

ATEEZ is set to release their 14th EP, Golden Hour: Part 5, tonight, Thursday, June 25, at 9 pm (Friday, June 26, in South Korea at 1 pm).<\/p>\n
