The 28-year-old has played a central role in the Premier League-winning campaign for the Merseyside club and convinced the Bavarian giants to spend over \u20ac75 million for acquiring his services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bayern unwilling to spend \u20ac80 million<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"HprMLB\">After the \u20ac67.5m bid\u2019s rejection, Bayern were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bavarianfootballworks.com\/2025\/7\/23\/24472938\/breaking-bayern-munich-set-to-make-80-million-bid-to-liverpool-for-luis-diaz-per-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> to respond with a much higher \u20ac80m offer. However, latest developments indicate two changes in the bid strategy for Luis diaz. Per a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/altobelli13\">Tobi Altsch\u00e4ffl<\/a> of Bild (via <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/imiasanmia\/status\/1948319270468735078?s=46&amp;t=gLe-_YzJmVJHfEjMd8Qkbg\">@iMiaSanMia<\/a>), Bayern Munich\u2019s internal ceiling price for Luis Diaz is fixed at \u20ac75m. The brass are unwilling to go higher than that. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Can a sell-on clause do the trick ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"FqQ0WQ\">Another important change is the inclusion of a sell-on clause. The latter gives Merseyside security, should Diaz be sold to an oil giant either in Europe or to Saudi Arabia. This combination has made the Bavarians confident of securing the Diaz deal at the earliest.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ncBGP0\">While the purchase figure is itself quite high, the inclusion of a sell-on clause is curious for a 28 year-old player. However, It has the potential to bridge the gap between <a href=\"https:\/\/liverpooloffside.sbnation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a>\u2019s demand and Bayern\u2019s maximum offer. Sadio Man\u00e9, the last winger from Liverpool that Bayern went on to sell went for \u20ac30m.
