He has two top-10 finishes this season, according to his PGA Tour profile.<\/p>\n

The missed cut at Shinnecock was another setback in a major for Lowry, whose best U.S. Open finish remains a tie for second at Oakmont in 2016.<\/p>\n
Byrne\u2019s return gives Lowry an experienced and familiar voice as he tries to steady things quickly.<\/p>\n
Caddie changes are common in golf, but the timing stands out with Lowry moving on from Reynolds immediately after one of the sport\u2019s biggest events.<\/p>\n
Lowry has not announced a full-time replacement.<\/p>\n
