\n\tRatatouille<\/a> director Brad Bird<\/a> is not open to a sequel to the Disney<\/a> and Pixar<\/a> animated film.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview, the filmmaker revealed that he has been asked about a potential follow-up to the 2007 film, but is not open to it.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey\u2019ve made little feints towards that to see how I would react. They\u2019ll, like, crack a joke, but the joke will be a little bit serious, like, \u2018Would you?\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018No, we told that story,’\u201d Bird said in an interview with Collider<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cAny time you do something that ends up connecting with people, they automatically think, \u2018How about another?\u2019 People have mentioned it about The Iron Giant, which is hilarious to me because the film didn\u2019t succeed at all in its initial release. It\u2019s caught up in time, but what would you do to follow that up? He\u2019s lumbering around, still undiscovered? In other words, to me, that story is told.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRatatouille\u00a0is a 2007 film that Bird wrote and directed about a young rat, Remy, who is determined to become a French chef. Patton Oswalt voiced Remy while other voice actors included Lou Romano, Ian Holm, Brian Dennehy, Peter Sohn, Peter O\u2019Toole, Brad Garrett, Jeaneane Garofalo, and Will Arnett, to name a few.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Bird is not keen on a sequel to Ratatouille, he\u2019s willing to make another installment of The Incredibles, telling the publication, \u201cI could see another Incredibles film.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBird also wrote and directed The Incredibles, which was released in 2004. The animated film about a superhero family received a sequel in 2018, 14 years after the first. A third installment is set for release in 2028.<\/p>\n

\n\tRatatouille continues to be remembered by audiences and Disney park-goers who visit Disneyland Paris and Epcot in Florida, where they can experience the film through its own attraction.
