Police first received reports of a burglary involving three people at a property on Willoughby Retreat, in Clarkson, about 10pm on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
A short time later, officers received a second triple-0 call reporting a single shot had been fired into a neighbouring home, damaging its roller shutter.<\/p>\n
Officers raided the initial property on Tuesday night and seized a quantity of drugs, cash, firearms and ammunition.<\/p>\n
Police were then hunting Jason James Cockie, 53, who they believe is connected to the shooting. He was believed to be armed with a firearm.<\/p>\n
Members of the public were advised not to approach Mr Cockie, and to instead call police immediately on triple-0 if he was seen.<\/p>\n

Joondalup Detective Senior Constable Damian Webb said officers believed the bullet was actually intended to strike the neighbouring home.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe the person (that lives in the home) where the warrant was conducted and Mr Cockie are known to each other,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The homeowner \u2014 who was not injured \u2014 said the bullet missed her foot by about 30cm.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t get hurt; the bullet came through the shutter, the window, the fly screen and I was … in the room in bed,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m still very shaken, I don\u2019t feel safe in my own home.\u201d<\/p>\n
