Scott Cawthon, who created the game, co-wrote the first movie and had sole credit on the second, remains involved as a producer.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>It is also unclear whether stars including Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio and Elizabeth Lail will be returning, but many are expected to. The second movie ended with at least two character threads not tied up in bows.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The game and first movie followed a troubled security guard as he begins working at the family-friendly Freddy Fazbear\u2019s Pizza joint.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tFazbear, the pizza joint\u2019s ursine mascot, as well as Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken and Foxy the Pirate Fox were the lead animatronics in the original game, released in 2014. The first movie, released in 2023, scared up $291.5 million worldwide.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The movies, while big moneymakers, have been criticized for lacking in the script department. It appears that the producers have heard the howls of the fans and have hired a screenwriter with legit horror field experience.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Dauberman penned Warner Bros.\u2019 2017 film adaptation of Stephen King\u2019s beloved novel\u00a0It, directed by Andy Muschietti.\u00a0The New Line film broke box office records including biggest horror opening ever.\u00a0\u00a0Dauberman wrote and executive produced the film\u2019s box office-smash sequel,\u00a0It: Chapter Two<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Working in the\u00a0Conjuring\u00a0universe, Dauberman wrote Conjuring spinoffs\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/annabelle\/\" id=\"auto-tag_annabelle_1\" data-tag=\"annabelle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Annabelle<\/a>,\u00a0Annabelle: Creation\u00a0and\u00a0Annabelle Comes Home,\u00a0as well as\u00a0The Nun, which became the highest-grossing entry of the\u00a0Conjuring\u00a0franchise at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHe next has a story credit on video game action movie Street Fighter, which opens in theaters Oct. 16.
