{"id":895260,"date":"2026-06-27T00:10:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-27T00:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/895260\/"},"modified":"2026-06-27T00:10:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T00:10:11","slug":"mick-jagger-says-rolling-stones-biopic-interests-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/895260\/","title":{"rendered":"Mick Jagger Says Rolling Stones Biopic &#8220;Interests Me&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWith The Beatles getting the biopic treatment, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/mick-jagger\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mick-jagger\" data-tag=\"mick-jagger\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mick Jagger<\/a> could get some satisfaction out of bringing his own band\u2019s musical journey to the big screen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-rolling-stones\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-rolling-stones\" data-tag=\"the-rolling-stones\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Rolling Stones<\/a> frontman recently expressed interest in a biopic for his British rock band that formed in 1962, pointing to examples like 2024\u2019s Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and the 2014 James Brown film Get On Up, on which Jagger served as a producer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cYeah, it interests me,\u201d he told <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/mick-jagger-rolling-stones-foreign-tongues-album-longevity\">GQ<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t want to impart it to you, but, I know how I see it. There\u2019s lots of ways of doing <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/biopics\/\" id=\"auto-tag_biopics\" data-tag=\"biopics\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">biopics<\/a>. So most of the time when you do a biopic, you do one small section of someone\u2019s life bookended by some other stuff. Take the Bob Dylan movie. You do the moment when Bob went electric.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tJagger continued, \u201cYou\u2019d have to think, what are you going to zero in on? And where\u2019s your two years of interest? I mean that Bob Dylan one was two years, [the] James Brown one that I produced was slightly more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBut which section of the Rolling Stones\u2019 career would an ideal biopic entail? \u201cI don\u2019t know which section, because it\u2019s a long period,\u201d said Jagger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLast February, Deadline exclusively revealed that Sam Mendes is <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/02\/beatles-movies-sam-mendes-paul-mccartney-john-lennon-george-harrison-ringo-starr-1235831317\/\">set to direct<\/a> each installment of The Beatles \u2014 A Four-Film Cinematic Event, through his Neal Street Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
