It includes categories aiming to highlight the state&#8217;s landmarks and cultural experiences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPassport250 offers immersive exploration of Arizona&#8217;s iconic landmarks, historical sites, cultural institutions, and unique experiences,&#8221; said Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, who is also the chairman of the Arizona America250 Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The featured categories include Treasures250, Indigenous Travel250, Commemorate250, and Dark Skies250. Officials said upcoming additions include Cheers250 and Dine250.<\/p>\n<p>Once the sign-up is completed, the pass is immediately delivered to the individual&#8217;s phone where they can start their explorations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Residents, local leaders and community stakeholders are invited to nominate local landmarks and hidden gems to be featured through an <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=A0pJtG3yXUe6QTmHHnY1Mc69Z-P8CJRCnsBHglf7wT9URFpFWFA2TkMxNEVBSTVKM0wyMTIzMFcxNi4u&amp;route=shorturl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">online form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Passport250 holders can also earn prizes by checking into locations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Passport250 makes it super simple and fun to explore Arizona&#8217;s amazing places,&#8221; said Alix Skelpsa Ridgway, interim director of the Arizona Office of Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>The pass promotes responsible heritage tourism and supports cultural institutions.
