Best neighborhood:<\/p>\n
Roach nominated West Loop for the best neighborhood in the City, calling it the \u201cperfect location.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s so much activity, there\u2019s so much life,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Best restaurants:<\/p>\n
\u201cChicago food is very, very interesting because we have hole-in-the-walls all the way to like three-star Michelin restaurants,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Roache\u2019s top spots for dining are Soul Vibez and Harold\u2019s Chicken, and for pizza specifically he recommends The Italian Fiesta and Home Run Inn. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t come to Chicago and not have Harolds Chicken,\u201d he said, adding his recommendation for the six-piece with mild sauce and salt and pepper.<\/p>\n
Best bars:<\/p>\n
Lazy Bird and the Rooftop at the Godfrey are Roach\u2019s favorite bars in the city.<\/p>\n
Best spots for dancing:<\/p>\n
\u201cTao on a Saturday night is a really great dance party,\u201d Roach said.<\/p>\n
Best clothing store:<\/p>\n
Roach said his top spot to shop in Chicago is Ikram, a store he always dreamt of shopping at while growing up.<\/p>\n
Most stylish people in right now:<\/p>\n
Roach\u2019s pick for most stylish people in America \u2013 apart from the people he works with — are local hosts of the podcast \u201cGhetto Runway,\u201d Alonzo Jackson and Marcus Dane.<\/p>\n
