Drinking water every hour when it\u2019s hot outside and even when you are not thirsty.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid alcohol on hot days.<\/li>\n<li>Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day (usually 3\u20137 p.m.).<\/li>\n<li>Stay in air-conditioned indoor locations.
