Comic-Con<\/a>, at its heart, is a party for the comic book industry and its creators and fans.<\/p>\n

That doesn\u2019t mean there isn\u2019t a lot of buzz around the possible celebrity sightings each day of the convention. San Diegans may see them throughout the city \u2014 and surprises are always expected \u2014 but others were expected<\/a> for events and panels for various TV, film, graphic novels, animation and other projects.<\/p>\n

Thursday, Dan Aykroyd, Peter Dinklage and Anthony Mackie were among the big names to watch for. Here\u2019s a look at some of the major celebrity sightings throughout the day.<\/p>\n
