PHOENIX (KVOA) – The Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) has announced $4.76 million in grants to 26 organizations across Arizona.<\/p>\n
These funds aim to boost programs that involve parents and caregivers in substance use education and prevention efforts throughout the state.<\/p>\n
“By supporting families and caregivers, we are creating pathways for young Arizonans to realize the Arizona Promise,” said Gov. Katie Hobbs. “These organizations are on the frontlines of fostering strong, healthy communities, and we are delivering critical resources to help them succeed and help our young people thrive.”<\/p>\n
Tonya Hamilton, GOYFF director, emphasized the importance of these organizations in addressing substance use and its impact on families across Arizona.<\/p>\n
“We are grateful for their ongoing commitment and look forward to seeing this funding strengthen their efforts around education, community engagement, and early intervention,” said Hamilton.<\/p>\n
The 26 grant recipients include organizations like Chicanos Por La Causa, Santa Cruz County School Superintendent’s Office,\u00a0Casa de los Ni\u00f1os, and the Boys & Girls Club Bisbee.<\/p>\n
