Co-founders Ben and Corley Spell joined Houston Life<\/a> to share how the company was born out of a desire for greater transparency in the food they were feeding their own family. After discovering there was no country-of-origin labeling requirement for some meats sold in grocery stores, they set out to create a business focused exclusively on American-raised products.<\/p>\n

Today, Good Ranchers partners with independent farms and ranches across the Midwest, handling the marketing, distribution, and logistics so producers can focus on raising livestock. The company, headquartered in the Houston area, now delivers beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and other products to customers nationwide.<\/p>\n

The Spells say supporting American agriculture is especially important as the country prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday. They encourage consumers to look for products that are born, raised, and harvested in the United States or to support local ranchers whenever possible.<\/p>\n

In addition to premium cuts of meat, Good Ranchers offers family-friendly items like seed oil-free chicken nuggets cooked in avocado oil. The nuggets are also gluten-free, dairy-free, and free from common allergens, making them a convenient option for many households.<\/p>\n

Other customer favorites include all-beef hot dogs made without added hormones or nitrates, premium steaks, burgers blended with Angus and Wagyu beef, and a variety of chicken and seafood options.
